Mickey Brueckner

Mickey Brueckner has spent over two decades focused on one thing — building better athletes. Since 2005, he has worked with amateur and professional players at every level, developing a reputation as a trusted performance coach for baseball players and quarterbacks throughout the country.

His journey into coaching grew from personal experience. As a former collegiate athlete, Mickey suffered an injury that redirected his path — and deepened his understanding of what it truly takes to perform and stay healthy over the long haul. That experience shaped the philosophy behind everything at ANNEX: train smart, protect the body, and develop athletes who are built to last.

His specialty lies in working with overhead throwing athletes — pitchers, quarterbacks, and position players — where his approach to arm care, mechanics, and strength development has helped athletes reach levels they didn't know were possible. Over the years, his clientele has included multiple MLB First Round Draft Picks, a Cy Young Award Winner, and Super Bowl and World Series Champions. His work has been featured in MLB Network and Sports Illustrated — recognition he's grateful for, though he'll tell you the real reward is watching an athlete achieve something they've worked years to earn.

Mickey lives in Mendham, NJ with his wife Perrin and their three children, Maya, Nora, and Duke. Outside the gym, he volunteers as a football and baseball coach alongside his son's teams — a role he takes just as seriously as any professional session. When he's not coaching, you'll find him fly fishing, working on a woodworking project, or exploring the outdoors with his family.
